The T500 front brake is an incredibly powerful brake, and is used by a lot of Classic Racers. Unfortunately they eventually crack after a lot of hard work on the track. I've had one of these crack when racing my 1967 T20 Suzuki, and seen many other cracked ones too. To counter that I had this (uncracked) one strengthened with added ribs where Suzuki should have put them! The welding process distorted the hub VERY slightly, so I had it skimmed to ensure that the brake surface was concentric to the spindle. You can see on the video that it runs true. I never did get to fit this to my bike though, as by the time it was done, I'd given up racing! Kept it for a project bike, but that never came to be.
